OUR HISTORY
BT'S OPENED IN THE FALL OF 1983, IN THE FORMER LOCATION OF THE HIDEOUT. THE FRONT PART OF BT'S WAS A HOUSE BUILT IN THE 1920'S. THREE ADDITIONS HAVE BEEN MADE SINCE 1983, ONE EXPANDED THE KITCHEN, ANOTHER ADDED ADDITIONAL DINING SPACE, AND A THIRD CREATED THE POOL ROOM. BT'S STANDS FOR BILL AND TOM, THE ORIGINAL OWNERS. BT'S IS STILL OWNED BY TOM WHITEHEAD. TOM IS A GRADUATE OF VIRGINIA TECH & HIS WIFE DIANE GRADUATED FROM RADFORD COLLEGE. MANY OF OUR STAFF HAVE BEEN WITH THE RESTAURANT FOR YEARS. THEIR DEDICATION, HARD WORK AND CREATIVITY IS THE REASON WE HAVE PROSPERED. SINCE OPENING IN 1983 WE ESTIMATE THAT OVER 2 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE ENJOYED OUR OFFERING OF FOOD, FUN, AND FRIENDS.
